4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the website and OvoWpp Service;
  • Create and manage accounts, process payments, and communicate about the Service;
  • Respond to support requests and send transactional notices;
  • Analyze usage and diagnose technical issues;
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service;
  • Show advertising on our website through partners such as Google AdSense (see Section 6).

5. Legal bases (EEA / UK / Switzerland)

Where GDPR / UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on one or more of these bases:

  • Contract — to provide the Service you request;
  • Legitimate interests — security, product improvement, non-personalized analytics, where not overridden by your rights;
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies, personalized advertising, and similar technologies where required;
  • Legal obligation — when we must retain or disclose data under applicable law.

6. Advertising and Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense and related Google advertising services to display ads on our website.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors’ uses of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

For more information about how Google uses data when you use our sites or apps, see: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

We may also use Google Tag Manager and analytics tools that process technical and usage data. Where required by law (including the EU User Consent Policy), we obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or serving personalized ads to users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners set cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, preferences, analytics, and advertising. Details, categories, and how to manage choices are described in our Cookie Policy. Where a consent banner or Consent Management Platform (CMP) is shown, your choices control non-essential cookies.

8. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us host, operate, secure, bill, support, or analyze the Service (under contracts that limit their use of the data);
  • Advertising and analytics partners, including Google, as described in Section 6;
  • Meta / WhatsApp and related providers when you connect or use messaging features;
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) under confidentiality;
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (you will be notified where required).

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States and may process data in the U.S. and other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

10. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Account data is generally retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward unless a longer retention is required by law or you request earlier deletion where applicable.

11. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information (including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact support@ovowpp.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA (including the right to know, delete, and correct, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable). We do not sell personal information for money. To submit a request, email support@ovowpp.com.

13. Children’s privacy

14. Third-party links and services

Our site may link to third-party websites or embed third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for those practices.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
